Highest so far was $4.15 in Panama City Beach Florida.  Today we drove thru Florida panhandle, Lower Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana and it averaged $3.95 until we got into Texas.  Port Arthur area (with several refineries) is $3.79 per gallon.

Most of Texas along I-10 was $3.79 to $3.99 with a few over $4 between San Antonio and Ft. Stockton.

Two days ago the Global down the street from me went from $4.09 to $4.19 a gallon.

Yesterday the Shell (also VERY close to me and within spitting distance of the Global) went from  $4.29 to $4.19.

Brandon doesn't know whether to take credit for saving Americans or blame the oil companies for gouging.

$4.39 at Costco this morning. I'm back to getting gas there since the panic lines seem to have subsided. I was able to drive straight to a pump at 0930.
