Supply chain issues?

IDK. It could be, or it could just be regional demand and me not remembering to get a can of it till NOV instead of buying it in AUG.

Apparently, China has also cut oil imports too, so that might cause some price easing.

WTI crude is down over $4 a barrel to the mid 70s on news that OPEC+ is discussing boosting production.

One station in this area is down to $3.699 while most of the rest are at least 5 cents higher.  Some are still over $3.80.

Well that was certainly short-lived.

Not long after I posted yesterday the price of oil recovered all it had lost (in about 10 minutes of trading, apparently) then ended higher for the day.

Today it's up $1.50 a barrel because the Saudi oil ministry said OPEC+ is sticking with their output cuts and may take "additional steps to balance the markets."

Which will undoubtedly lead to Biden once again going to the Saudis on his knees to beg for more oil.

Oh, wait, the elections are over. He no longer gives a *expletive deleted*ck how much gasoline costs because Americans should be punished heavily for daring to use gasoline.

Why don't you quit whining, get your patriot on, and go out and buy a $60K evehicle and a $30K solar system for your house, and do your duty as an American to get us off oil and save yourself money at the same time? Brandon is giving you a win-win and you're blowing it!

We're at $3.27 at the Global down the street from me, and a few pennies more at the stations around the corner.

If nothing changes for the holiday, I'll pay $3.24 in the morning but get .17 back per gallon. I'll see what tomorrow brings

Down to $3.25 at the Global down the street.

Kerosene at the same station (one of the few that sells it in my area) is up to $8 a gallon.

Holy crap! I have to fill a couple of 5 gallon cans in the next week. That price is a shocker. I'll report back on what it is here. We seem to also only have a few places that sell it form the pump in these parts.

Yep, that's almost $70 per million BTU, making it, by FAR, the most expensive heating method in my area.

Two stations in this area are down to less than $3.40.  One is at $3.359 and the other is at $3.379.
All the rest are still over $3.70.
