First gas now diesel and I still haven't seen any plans to increase electricity production which already can't handle the current load.

Quote
The Biden administration will approve new California rules to cut tailpipe pollution and phase out sales of diesel-burning trucks, according to three people briefed on the plans, a move that could jump-start the nation’s transition to electric-powered trucks and help communities harmed by diesel pollution.

Quote
Another rule sets new sales requirements for truck makers. Beginning next year, manufacturers will have to sell increasing percentages of zero-emission trucks, buses and vans annually, eventually reaching a target of selling all-electric or hydrogen fuel-cell trucks by 2045. State officials estimate the rule would reduce emissions of carbon dioxide by 307 million metric tons by 2050.

Biden will let California lead on electric trucks, despite industry protest

So I'm assuming this means no truck manufacturing in these states? I guess they'll also stop selling diesel? What about goods delivered to the states? How will trucks leave if they can't get fuel? What about trains?

Quote
New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Massachusetts, Washington and Vermont have agreed to adopt the sales mandate for zero-emission trucks. All except New Jersey have also committed to following California’s more stringent tailpipe pollution standards.

Of course they'll stop selling diesel!  And only manufacture electric trucks.

How will the trucks leave?  One of 3 things:

1 Convert to electric - at the owners expense
2 Don't come into the state to begin with - transfer stations at the borders
3 Pulled out with electric tow trucks - at the owners expense

I'm betting on #2 for both trucks & trains.

Well, it looks like the more expensive winter blend has been replaced with the more expensive oxygenated summer blend.

Prices went up by nearly 30 cents a gallon at several of the stations near me, now back up to $3.40 a gallon.

3.47 for gas

3.97 for diesel. I can't tell you the last time I saw diesel below 4 bucks a gallon.

Those are cash prices, credit is ten cents more per gallon.

Same here.  We're around $3.35 - $3.39 a gallon.

The WAWA near my house bumped up to $3.49 Thursday.

It's more expensive than the Shell and Sunoco down the street, which are both at $3.39.

Got gas this morning at the Global down the street. Still $3.17 there, but I'm sure that the price will jump up next time they get a tanker delivery.

Diesel at the WAWA is $3.81.

OPEC and other countries are talking about a 1.5 million BPD cut this week. I'll fill up tomorrow and wait and see.

Yep, oil is up almost $5 a barrel.

And to think, that doddering, drooling *expletive deleted*ing mess of an idiot in the White House willingly gave up America's best weapon against OPEC the moment he set foot in office.

Analysts are warning about the possibility of $100 a barrel oil this summer.

Get ready for the real possibility of gasoline prices back over $4 and $5 a gallon.

Of course, that's Trump's fault...

Price has been bouncing around here in Northern Virginia for the last couple of days...

WAWA popped to $3.49 a few days ago, then dropped back to $3.34, and this morning it's back up to $3.49.

Other stations have had similar bounces.
