A couple of weeks after a crash is enough, I'm back at it.  I finally got my project bike to run, dragged it out and started riding it.

Got this guy for $200 three years ago. Invested probably twice that in parts (mostly because of expensive new ignition box).

Runs, drives and stops.

How's the mileage?  Still looking for a too-good-to-pass-up deal on a KZ400 for that ideal balance between not getting run over on the freeway and being able to get to Fort Worth (68 miles) on a gallon of gas.

The only real trick would be figuring out how to carry a suit, decent tool kit and a crock pot safely without a trailer.

Not sure yet.

Can't really complain about power, though. It does highway speeds pretty confidently, even two up.
