The "District of Columbia" designates a Federal Enclave where "The People" have no voice in representative government and thus is offensively statist.  You must not use that term.  "Indenous Peoples" is offensive as well; the First Peoples were pushed out by succeeding waves of interlopers, land grabbers, and murderers.

I suggest you refer to the team as "Those Ruffians From That Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy (But Are Not Elected)".

Cardinals* and Saints need to go, they refer to religious affiliations and offend atheists.
Packers, refers to killing and eating animals, offends vegans. Meat is murder.
Any team named after an animal because animals can't speak for them selves and need protected from the evil exploitation.
49ers refers to the wanton rape of mother Gaia during the gold rush. Gotta go.
Steelers, glorifies the evil, corrupt, greedy robber barons of the late 19th century.
Cowboys, part of the immoral conquest of the peace loving native Americans.
Texans, can't support the illegal theft of Texas from Mexico.
Buccaneers and Raiders, can't have an affinity to murderous thieves.
Patriots, glorifies domestic terrorism.
