Sarah Brady dies at 73

Sarah Brady dies

Condolences to the family.

http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/lo...298624071.html

Sarah Kemp Brady, the widow of former White House Press Secretary James Brady, died Friday after battling pneumonia, her family said in a statement. She was 73.

Let me suggest that this is not the time to discuss The Brady Campaign/CSGV or her other gun control activities - other than to recognize she was steadfast in her beliefs.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

My condolences to her family.  I will also take the time to remind everybody if you don't have anything polite to say don't say it at all.

I wonder how her death will affect the organizations she led?

[Sarah Brady] was also involved in gun violence prevention for the past 30 years. She was the chairwoman of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence from 2000 until she died.

The National Rifle Association said its thoughts and prayers were with the Brady family.

"Although we disagreed on public policy, Sarah Brady was an honorable American who we always respected," the gun rights organization said.

Her old man was a decent guy. I only met him after he got hurt. He was big in " the national organization on disability" . I didn't recognize/connect who he was at first. He was just another one of my landladies friends

She dedicated her time and energy to a cause she truly believed in.  She worked to improve the world, as she saw it.  She will be missed by her loved ones, and I offer them my condolences for their loss.

Rest In Peace.

Yeah, condolences to her family.

I certainly don't believe in the same things she did but I believe in her right (and the right of anyone else) so whatever they damned well please.

My condolences to her family.  She loved and was loved dearly by them.  I respect her standing by the side of her husband through the reminder of his life, recognizing that everyday would be a struggle.

I may have disagreed with everything that she publicly stood for, but would (and will) defend to the death her right to say it.

Condolences to her family.

We should all pause and reflect a bit on her contributions to civil discourse, honest debate, and upholding the Bill of Rights.
