What they are really saying is that terrorists can shoot people just fine with revolvers also.  Because this is what you are doing when you protect yourself with a gun.

Interestingly the suspects are being identified as fully armored and with face masks, but also as three white men.  At least in preliminary reports I've read. I'm sure there will be a lot of misinformation before actual facts begin to emerge.
