Another terror attack . . .

No fatalities (at least not yet).  Attacker screamed "This is for Syria" as he stabbed three people.

But I thought that, like firearms, knives are now illegal to have in public in the U.K. ? 

(If no one knows, this isn't a joke. Wife and I are considering a trip to visit some friends. Researched knife laws, and found even kitchen knives have restrictions.)

I heard that they (England) even tried to or actually did outlaw glass beer mugs to reduce their conversion to  weapons... true?

I guess they're trying to better the odds for the young, the strong, the biggest, against the little guy, the crippled, the women.

They don't call guns "equalizers" for nothing.

It's starting to be kicked around in various places that it's not that hard to subtly influence soft-headed highly passionate and self-righteous individuals to violent action with whatever weapons come to hand.

I caught the first 30 seconds or so of Obama's speech tonight.  (I couldn't get to the remote fast enough). Apparently this was all work place violence with no proof of conspiracy.  We can all calm down.
