We Can End Gun Violence

All we have to do is repeat the words so many times that people get sick of us. It boggles the mind that they think this is actually a viable approach.

We make tons of money making TV shows and movies that glorify gun violence, but by repeating that it's bad over and over, terrorists and gangbangers will stop shooting Americans.

*shrug* Hollyweird has a long history of "raising awareness" by having celebrities mouth off "for a good cause", because apparently this helps stuff.

"gun violence" is the flavor of the month. Big whoop.

Sick of US?

I was sick of THEM before it was even halfway through. I couldn't watch it to the end -- I bailed at the halfway mark.

It still [irritates me] that people persist in blaming the violence on the tool rather than on the violent aggressor.

I'll admit that I don't follow pop culture, watch a lot of television shows or current movies, etc., but I don't have a clue who half of those people are.  And some of them I did recognize, like Kevin Bacon, all I could think was "damn, you look terrible."
