NPR interviewed her today, Ari Shapiro brought up the Inspector General story, she started saying it was a hit piece and state department is doing the investigation, etc. Maybe she is on the ropes and knows it.

We can hope.  I prefer she swings from a rope, metaphorically.

I wish she would just go away and get out of politics, no more Clintons, no more Bushes.

That's all I want out of this election cycle.  We're mostly rid of Kennedys,  no more Clintons or Bushes either.

No royalty.

Me three.

Four.

It'll be a disaster, but Trump as POTUS would be better for the Republic long-term than a Bush or a Clinton.
I promise not to duck.

That's pretty much where we are - looking for someone who's less a disaster than the blue-bloods.  ;/

I have to go off on my tirade again regarding the classified emails. While much of the media is getting it wrong with the "above top secret" thing, the fact that it now appears she had SAP data sitting on her private server is just infuriating. Honestly, what gov employee (for the few that would have the need to know) who did something like this wouldn't be sent away for longer than forever?

I have to wonder if any foreign assets that see the news are rethinking their involvement with us, given that their names might have been sitting inside an unguarded computer in a barn in New York, or intercepted during transfer. She should be sitting in a jail cell right this minute (also whoever she was exchanging the emails with). Especially after having the nerve to call the information "innocuous". Holy hell - the blood vessels in my head are ready to burst.

Meanwhile,  Obama's boy over at the Pentagon is looking at demoting Petraeus retroactively and reduce his pension for mishandling classified information (which IIRC was his schedule/itinerary)

Quote
With more damming information being released almost weekly now, it’s interesting that during last Sunday’s Democratic debate, Clinton resoundingly stated: “No one is too big for jail.”  Although the context was referencing bank CEOs and Hedge fund managers, the obvious correlation left many scratching their heads and wondering—did Hillary Clinton just say, “I dare you” to the FBI?”

Apparently the Clinton Campaign tweeted out that quote mere seconds after she said it in the debate.  #1 reply "Even you Hillary."

If HRC doesn't get indicted then the rule of law is really and truly in tatters.  Not that it isn't mostly there already.

What should happen is she should wind up in an orange jumpsuit (to replace the orange pantsuit).  That would likely result in a brokered D convention as there's nobody else that is really all that viable currently campaigning.  If that happens it'll be either Biden or maybe Gore.  No chance Sanders gets the nomination.

She should be sitting in a jail cell right this minute (also whoever she was exchanging the emails with). Especially after having the nerve to call the information "innocuous".

Especially especially after instructing her staff to remove the classified headers on some of the messages before transmitting them -- as if that made it all right.

She's as bad as Bill and "It depends on what the definition of 'is' is." I suppose in her twisted mind she didn't transmit any classified information, because (1) she didn't send it, her staff sent it for her, and (2) she removed the classified headers, so "it wasn't classified when we sent it."

They certainly belong together. The problem is, they belong together in the Graybar Hotel, not in a mansion in Mount Kisco, New York.

The Bush family has a somewhat nebulous claim to being "blue bloods." Joe Kennedy (Senior) was basically a bootlegger -- the Kennedies don't qualify as blue bloods. And the Clintons are basically trailer trash -- they most certainly aren't blue bloods.

Yet they count as our political aristocratic class, all the same.
