Piker recipe, it uses kosher salt. The only way to make it authentic is to use Hawaiian Pink Sea Salt.

Marie Callenders or Jiffy?

That shouldn't even be a question, every one knows it is Jiffy with extra sugar in it.

Add a little cream corn for extra sweetness.

And cilantro.

Fleur de sel, you nekulturny bastard...

What!?!?!  Really!?!?!!?

When was the last time you saw a coconut tree or pineapple plantation off the coast of Brittany? You want some of that foo-foo french cornbread then you will need to come up with a French Cornbread recipe.

You will need some leeks, tarragon, truffles and wine if you want some of that stuff. Might as well put some truffles in it while you are at it, after all you went to the trouble of getting Fleur de sel. Top it with a bit of creme fraiche and caviar and call it good, or French Cornbread, which ever strikes your fancy.

Oh yeah, because Hawaii IS ever so very well known for its expansive fields of dent corn and its several hundred year old tradition of corn bread...

I know you're douching out as a counter to my being a *expletive deleted*che, but you know, you might be on to something there...

Drop the caviar (that's Russian, nudnik), but the rest of the stuff? You might actually be on to something...

It was my fault, I mentioned caviar when I shouldn't have.  =|

It is more along the lines of South Pacific and French.......wait...French Polynesian Cornbread.... I may be able to work with this. ;)

As long as it is served by half nude nubile native girls I don't care what they put it it!!!!  =)
