The New Obamacare Pajama Boy

Obamacare has a new pajama boy. No wonder they can't get regular Americans to sign up.

Just as an aside.

Quote
For tax year 2016, the penalty will rise to 2.5% of your total household adjusted gross income, or $695 per adult and $347.50 per child, to a maximum of $2,085.

Talk about perverse incentives.  The max penalty is roughly one, maybe two, months of insurance coverage for most families with the new rate hikes kicking in.

Why do I have a feeling that the D's* will propose that if you don't get private insurance, then if you pay the "penalty" each year, you'll be "covered" under the new single-payer scheme.

* It will be called "The Hillary Option to Obamacare".  Of course the D's need her to win and have long coattails...

I was thinking the same thing.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

At least this guy is not wearing a onesie.
Does any image illustrate so neatly the wrongheadedness of the Obama administration than Americans scrambling in terror from Air Force One?

I just received an e-mail blast from one of my U.S. senators, encouraging me to vote straight Democratic. In addition to assuring me that this will help promote action against [gasp] GUNZ! [/gasp] and global warming climate change, and for equal pay and universal health care, he made sure he mentioned championing LGBTXYZ rights. I unfortunately live in a terminally blue state, so I guess he's playing to his base. To me, except for equal pay, he provided me with a definitive list of reason why I have to vote R.

You realize equal pay won't be equal pay, and will just be further prosperity-stifling, right?

You realize there already is equal pay won't be equal pay, and will just be further prosperity-stifling, right? and the claim that there's a gap is pure bull hockey.  Except for the folks that work for democrats in government.

Actually, it is true that for every dollar a man gets, a woman gets 77 cents. Guys, make sure you spend your 23 cents wisely.
