Finally, an Optical Illusion I caught Right Away
« on: October 26, 2016, 06:07:37 PM »
Usually it takes me forever, plus going cross-eyed, to catch these things, but this one I caught the first second I saw it:

Saw this on failblog.   I was just coming here to see if anyone had posted this yet.    I saw nothing but the shiny legs until I read the description about painted lines.    Then they just became regular legs with streaks of white paint.

I thought they were just those kinky transparent plastic stockings.  Even knowing it's just paint, that's still the way they look.

Must be something pisikyological involved in my perceptions.

And no, I did not get all hornified and bonerized at the pic.

But it did look better after I rotated it 180° with MSPaint.
WHATEVER YOUR DEFINITION OF "INFRINGE " IS, YOU SHOULDN'T BE DOING IT.

I get the highlights of shiny/oiled legs, and I did see that. But once I knew it was a picture that was a "trick" somehow, I knew it was stripes of white paint.
I promise not to duck.

Interesting. If I close my eyes and open them, I can see the shiny legs again for about a second.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

Now that I know what it is, I simply can't see the "Shiny legs" anymore!
I might not last very long or be very effective but I'll be a real pain in the ass for a minute!

A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.
