S&W Model 59* series owners

Yesterday I learned that a S&W Model 59 fits in and works great in a Glock Model 19 Hogue ARS Stage 1 retention holster!

I learned this after I got my new BlackHawk CQC SERPA Holster - S&W 5900/4000 Series holster in of course.  

*I also got a SIG 226 RETENTION HOLSTER TARGET SPORTS holster from CDNN as it is REAL easy to modify to fit the Model 59 as a second holster and because it is CHEAP!

*NOTE: Applies to rounded trigger guard models.

The advantage of my S&W 659 is that after I run out of ammo, it is heavy enough to use to beat the miscreant.

My 59 IS a good deal heavier than the G19 I was carrying even though they are the same size and the G19 carries 2 more rounds.

What is the general consensus of the quality and durability of the Blackhawk Serpa holsters? I actually have one for a my S&W Mdl 60 but a little J frame isn't much of a challenge for a holster.
Because of the problems I have with my back and right hip I'm having serious issues with carrying my 1911s IWB and want to go "outside".
The Blackhawk Serpas are fairly common and easy to come by, even locally (except for commander size of course).

My older model Hogue has been rock solid. Dunno about the new models.

Why would you want to carry specific built bulseye gun?

2) I am SO freaking jealous!
3) If you dare stick that in a plastic holster I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will get out of this recliner, get in my wheelchair, track down yer butt and kick it!

While the 59 Is the 1st DA/SA Double stack S&W (USA?) pistol, it doesn't have any real collector value though I would hate to have to try to find a replacement these days. This one has no sentimental attachment for us as my 1st one we traded off to the MAC tool man to cover my bill many years ago. I bought that one in 1977 while I was in the US Navy. It IS a nice gun but it is wide and not light.

I misread that I thought it said model 52 not 59.

I bought it from a old school bullseye shooter. Apparently it won quite a few camp perry matches. I'm not that good.
