It's been a possibility for a long time. Quite a few animals that will regrow lost bits. It's just a matter of finding the right switch/key to make it work.

I wouldn't be surprised that in the same way as porn drove internet expansion, that cosmetic stuff like guys wanting their hair back (or no hair on their back), will drive much of the advancement in this cell research.
