"Vintage" sound equipment
« on: April 02, 2017, 02:09:55 PM »
Someone at our church was cleaning out a storage area and pulled down some old PA equipment, and she asked me what we should do with it.  (I wish I had known about one of the speakers a couple of years ago, when I went out and bought a used guitar speaker)
  • a pair of Yamaha MS60S powered "monitor" speakers
  • a pair of JBL Cabaret 4691S concert speakers (200W)
  • There was also some tape cassette stuff that I'm pretty sure is worthless; a Telex tape duplicator, and a dual cassette deck that I didn't notice the brand.

I figure the Yamahas are worth about $100 apiece; maybe a little more because there's a pair of them.  And they are small enough we probably ought to keep them.

I have no idea what the huge JBL's are worth (if anything)  Any suggestions?
