There better be an appropriate number of black chicks in that book, or I am going to riot have a mostly peaceful demonstration!

I'm in a very interesting discussion over at USA today in the comments section about the review. A couple of people said there were no people of color at Dunkirk.

Patently false. The British Expeditionary Force had a number of Indian units attached to it, and the French had at least 5 regiments of Senegalese colonials stationed in France at the outbreak of the war.

Members of both groups were evacuated by the flotilla.

I guess they could have put some of those guys in the movie, so the Left could complain about imperialism being portrayed in a positive light.

I just got a notification about it from one of the ebook mailing lists I'm on.  Oddly enough, when I clicked through this morning it was $1.99, and now it says $1.51.
