Grill Recommendation
« on: May 05, 2005, 11:54:55 AM »
I know this has been covered before, but I am adding a small twist.  I need to find a quality propane grill that fits on the unusually small deck of my townhouse.  From the deck railing to the building is 52.5" so the Weber Genesis series is out as the smallest one is 51.5" and I don't want to risk burning the synthetic railing or the siding.  The only thing I have come up with is the Char-Broil Patio grill which appears to get decent reviews but I was hoping for something with a larger cooking surface.  Does anything like this exist?  Thanks in advance.

Perhaps I am not visualizing the space correctly, but couldn't you rotate the grill to fit in that space?

For what is worth, I have a Genesis B and love it.

Harry,

The problem with rotating it as you suggest is that the grill's depth makes it too big to really use the deck as a place to eat.  Right now, the only thing we can really fit out there is a small 30" round table and two chairs.  Believe me, if I could rotate it I would have already bought the same grill as you.

If you have a Lowe's nearby, they have a wide variety of grills.  Go to Weber.com and see if they have smaller grills.
