Just wanted to post that Kiferights.org is doing their Ultimate Steel raffle again in case some here don't know about it.  Still in the early bird drawing period also.  Knife Rights has helped get some reform laws passed in Texas as well as other states. 

Even if you are not interested in donating/buying tickets, browsing through all the knives up for raffle is interesting.  A few gun packages also.

I'm in for $100.  I didn't buy in last time and kicked myself for forgetting.  Tons of nice prizes there.

Just to warn everyone, they start the raffle drawing in July, but they allow the winners to pick from what is available.  It will take a month or more to get through it and all the stuff including the free knives for giving $100 or more may not get shipped until October/November. 

Last year I found myself checking the site during the draw to see what was claimed and what was still left.

I chose the Mossberg MVP-LR package.  I don't know anything about that rifle, but it is chambered in 6.5CM and I don't have one of those.

KnifeRights.org has done a lot of work pushing to repeal knife restrictions in many states.  In the last 10 years, Texas added a knife preemption law and removed most of the restrictions on carrying knives.  Tomahawks, clubs, and brass knuckles got carried along with it.  I know they have had bills moving in other states as well.
