The 3rd District extends from just west of the Loop to the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago.   It's been in the Democrat Lipinski Family (Dad-Bill then son Dan) since 1983.  It went 55%-40% for Hillary in 2016.  Last time an R presidential candidate won the district was Bush I, in 1988.  Whoever the R candidate could have been was going to get killed.

But yes, the Illinois Stupid party screwed the pooch on this one...again.    :facepalm: :facepalm: :facepalm:
