The most popular Halloween candy in your state

For at least the past 15 years or so, Ms. MillCreek has done a poll in her class on the candy most wanted by the kids on Halloween. The order changes a bit, but the top five are usually Reese's peanut butter cups, Skittles, Snicker, KitKat and Jolly Ranchers.

I can't remember for sure everything I liked and disliked anymore, but you would have made a good trading partner for me.  I know I used to like the tootsie rolls and pops, milk duds, and M&Ms.

Never liked the sour candy. I liked/like Snickers, M&Ms, and Tootsie Rolls, (and I have no idea what a couple of those you had on the list are), but otherwise we seem to be in agreement, except you forgot the "Whatchamacallit" bar.

I never traded candy, though as I'd eat several pieces Halloween night and some more over the next month or so...

And forget about the candy after that and end up throwing half or more of it out, come next Halloween.

Every time I go to Tractor Supply I buy two bags of black rope licorice for Dad. I hate the stuff but he loves it.

Candy corn for NM? BS. Candy corn is sugary wax (though Grandad LOVED candy corn - Virginia). At Casa de grislyatoms, there are 3 favorites -
1. Snickers
2. Reese's peanut butter cups
3. Kit-Kat

Sprouts market sells little miniature peanut butter cups (roughly the size of pencil eraser/dime) so good when you just want a quick sweet.

I'm in general agreement with the preferences listed here.  My preference is chocolate covered stuff.  Snickers, Milky Way, Kit Kat, REESES (my precious), Mounds, Almond Joy...
