It's been one hell of a week.
Dad had his surgery on Friday, and came through well. Surgeon was very pleased with the entire process.
Early Saturday morning, Dad's heart stopped.
They were able to get it started again, but it really looks as if he's gone. He's on life support, but he's non responsive.
They simply don't have an explanation for why his heart stopped. No heart attack, no stroke, no clots. No explanation.
They were doing an EEG this evening when we left the hospital, but in my heart I really think that Dad is gone, and the only thing left is the body.
We'll know hopefully some more over the coming days, but I really don't think it's going to change for the better.
