I had a little flag that was supposed to go on a car window that I tried mounting on my flower boxes, but it kept getting knocked down and annoyed me, so it went away.

*shrug* Curb appeal isn't really something you pay much attention too when you live in a crappy trailer. All outside decorations fall into two categories. Things that amuse me (my flowers and mini gnomes and owl wind chime) and the great mystery (the Zombie Crossing sign that showed up one day and we still don't know who put it there)

Yes, although it is put away for winter.

I also fly the Texas flag right next to the US flag at the same height.

I marked yes, but it's not up right now. I usually keep it and a Gadsden flag on the front porch from around Memorial Day to Labor Day.

I'm thinking about a pole at the new place, since most of the neighbors have them. I'll probably do the solar light thing at that time since now I don't really follow flag etiquette and the flag is only illuminated at night because of the yard light.

A flag pole with the US/Gadsden setup would go good with the (working) cannon that I want to get and point down my driveway.  =D

Up right now, though I really need to buy a new one.

Normally just on the typical flag flying days. I’m better when I have a VFW calendar to clue me in on some of the less known days.

I’d leave it up if I had proper lighting. The led solar lights are cheap enough now where I should probably just get one.
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

Black powder?  Carriage mount or fixed position?  Bunker?  Trench system?

Decisions yet to make (other than, yeah, BP because I want noise for sure). I'm going off links Dogmush or Charby or somebody posted. I can't get too crazy -- those suckers get expensive once you get to non-toy size.

Slacking some, my pole sustained some wind damage, need to string a new rope. I like to fly my jack from my last ship, but it is wall art now, need another.

No, because I know I wouldn't be on top of maintenance,  lighting,  and general weathering.

I'd rather not have one, than have a raggedy looking one.

I used to have one, but it got so messed up while I was deployed Mrs. Mush and I decided not to replace it.

For me, it's really just a privacy thing. I  don't care to know my neighbors business and they don't need to know mine, criminal activity notwithstanding. My friends, family and coworkers know where I stand.

My truck, on the other hand, has the 86th Brigade Combat Team logo and the Air National Guard logo on it.

Yep,  well lighted with a USMC flag as well.  It's basically " I  got jerked around for 4 years all all I got was the privilege to fly this flag",  so I do.

Doesn't cost me more than a couple of new flags annually.  and my wife keeps a tidy flower bed around the pole so why not?

There is no fixing stupid. But, you can line it up in front of a wall and offer it a last smoke.

I don’t but local Boy Scout troop has a Flags Across America program.  Plant flag in my yard on all the major days.  It is nice to see them in most yards as you look down the street.

I have a flag, but I don’t have a pole.
