Every time I read about someone acting like an adult, I think about stories I've heard about the first sessions of congress.  I think it was Jefferson and Franklin who had to be seated in opposite corners so that people could get on with their business.

It was interesting to go back and read this thread; look at the comments from back when.

I do sort of wonder why a lot of the familiar faces that posted here a few times slowly frittered away?

This mean we get a Toga Party?

We already have some members that wear kilts...Togas shouldn't present too much of a problem.

We need a Food Fight too.  May I suggest soundtracks from "Animal House" and "The Big Chill"  ?

Toga, Toga, Toga....

Vroom, Vroom....there goes Chris going up the stairs on his Bike...
Hunter Rose throwing food at him...ewwy...

sm,

This is NOT the kind of forum where I want to ask people what they are wearing.  I'm too afraid of the answers I might get!

Steve,
I'm pokin' fun.  I resurrected this thread because a number, quite extensive it appears, of folks have forged a, sort of, bond.

I've never met any of you, especially Steve because I Pick On Him,  and others who shall go unamed for risk of leaving someone out, ok, all of you.  But, one day I hope I get to meet you face to face.  Hell, watch out, I think I might have just created a monster.

I've signed up for Social Security, so most of the Posters On THR will finance my continued existance, so I'm no threat, so I'm loose in America.  Don't reply to my post or I'll track you down.

PANCAKES!

MMMMMM!!! Pancakes!

The Lubbock Lions Club (supposedly the largest Lions Club in the U.S.) is having their annual "All-You-Can-Mow" Pancake Festival this weekend.  All the pancakes, sausage, and milk you can keep down for a mere $5.  Unlimited butter and syrup, too!

If you happen to be close to Lubbock this Friday (Feb 17) then stop on by!  7am to 8pm at the Lubbock Civic Center.  They are good folks and do a lot for the community.

Brad
It's all about the pancakes, people.

This thread has inspired me to move my pancake mix from the closet to the kitchen and put down maple syrup on my shopping list.

I could definitely eat (mow?) $5 worth.  I'm not sure it would justify the travel expense.  grin

The way I see it, APS will grow and remain strong in membership. The Roundtable is history. High Roaders will come here for Roundtable type discussion. It's not that big of a deal.

Who knows...maybe APS will take on a life of its own.  Perhaps we'll see multiple fora here, instead of a catch-all Round Table?  A car forum, a computer forum, etc.  Pure speculation, mind you.

I just wish sm would post here again......having to open a new tab for THR is just too much work....

Never mind again.  I keep wanting to ask why you guys miss sm so much, because I didn't like his posts.  But I probably shouldn't get into it.  And we can't delete posts anymore, so...   Sorry.

His stories were interesting, and his writing style, though hard to follow, was also interesting.
