Using family members to 'opioid shop'

I have seen the concept of family members using kids to scam us for the ADD/ADHD drugs.  Many is the time that the parent says the child is taking the drugs faithfully as administered by the parents, and yet the urine drug screen/GC-MS confirmation on the kid is negative.  The most likely explanation is that the parent is taking or selling the meds.

We used to see this quite a bit on the Rez, the parents/grandparents would get opioid meds for RA or other age related aches and pains and they would give them to their kids, grandkids or sell them. Usually sold them.
