While we were distracted from the mid east..

 ..by our Legislators ongoing mean girls clique the Houthi Rebels in Yeman unveiled a new long range ballistic missle with hereforeto unseen range capabilities.

They attacked a parade in Aden, killing a Yemeni general. Of more concern to the members of this board however is that they launched a missle at the Saudi port city of Damman.

Damman is on the east coast of Saudi, northwest of Bahrain.  

This puts the entire kingdom of Bahrain, Riyadh and Prince Sultan Air Base in the range of missiles available to Iranian proxies from the west and Iran itself from the east.

Mina Salmon, Bahrain is the headquarters of the US Navy 5th fleet. Prince Sultan Air Base has recently  become a base for US aircraft.

Interesting times indeed.
