I have no clue what this Gun Winner is, or how I got on their e-mail list.

I just got this message. I've not clicked the link because I'm at work, but I have NO clue what the hell they're talking about...

Any ideas? Or is it just going to send me to a downloadable copy of the Constitution/Bill of Rights?

My guess is they have the online training/test that is all that's required for a non-resident permit in several states, I think including AZ, which covers about as many states as UT. So they are trying to get you to go to their site to take the online test that's available through many other sources at no cost. They probably want to charge you ten ducats or something to take theirs.

It does exist. I have both of them - UT and AZ.

If you have a virtual machine, you can copy and paste the link into that to see what it is without fear of viruses.

Correct. They aren't offering a permit, they're offering a class to give you a completion certificate you can use to apply for a permit. I think the permit is Virginia's, actually, IIRC.

Is VA still good for anything? That was one of the permits they touted in the first class I ever took, which certified me for non-resident in UT,FL, OR, and VA. At the time it covered a couple of popular states that the others didn't. I'm suspecting that might not be the case anymore. Even FL has gone downhill and I no longer renew that one. I'm only keeping AZ and UT as of now.

Edit: Though to cover all four of those states required classroom plus range time. I forget which states required what, but doing the equivalent of NRA defensive pistol 1 covered the strictest of them.
