CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – SC Representative Wendell Gilliard sent a letter to National Rifle Association (NRA) president, Carolyn Meadows, calling upon the NRA to donate funds from recent gun sales to efforts combating the spread of the coronavirus.

Gun sales have increased 500% over the last two weeks. Gilliard suggested that the NRA donate funds towards “obtaining medical equipment for the medical professionals and helping the homeless population.”

I think the NRA should immediately pledge all the money they get from gun sales.  I would suggest explaining reality to the Rep., but I think ship may have sailed.

Beat me to it. I suspect, without wishing any ill will on anybody, that the esteemed politician will be embarrassed by falling for his Party's own lying propaganda.
