Anyone listen to Trump last night?  He was asked about Kim.  At first he said he couldn't answer but in standard Trump fashion he kept talking and kind of did.  Said things like "when he recovers".  It sounds like Kim is probably alive.  I'm more inclined to believe he's in a coma/vegetative state currently.

Honestly, the best thing that could probably happen is he wakes up in a VERY reduced capabilities state and spends the rest of his life as a figurehead.

The generals underneath him MIGHT not be as bloodthirsty and the country might benefit. From what I've been reading, if his sister succeeds him, it would be bad.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

Lets see. He's either

A) Dead
B) Kimchi
C) Recovering from something
D) Super paranoid about C19 and is in hiding
E) Fighting some sort of power struggle. Who knows, maybe with his sister.
F) Shacked up with 50 hookers.
G) Discovered porn on the internet.
H) Just being a little *expletive deleted*it

Can't be D.  The NK Covid strategy is...final...
They only have 1 positive case at a time.

And they all recover with a bullet in their head.

CNN: Unlike Trump's America N.Korea has a 100% recovery rate.

After lawmakers asked about Kim, [Taiwan National Security Bureau Director-General Chiu Kuo-cheng] said that the North Korean leader had fallen ill.

“So [Kim] has been sick, but he is still alive?” Tsai asked.

Chiu smiled and did not elaborate.

DPP Legislator Wang Ding-wu (王定宇) also asked about Kim’s condition.

“My answer is from the intelligence that is available and it is not an opinion,” Chiu said.

Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) lawmakers asked Chiu to explain how the bureau had obtained the intelligence on North Korea.

Chiu said that there was a lot of speculation surrounding Kim’s condition, but he could not talk openly about it, as it could disclose the bureau’s sources in North Korea.

Maybe he went to fat camp.

Which would have failed, since he would have ordered some other people to lose weight for him.

Worth every penny you paid for it.
At this point until we get an official announcement who knows?

A North Korean defector now serving as a lawmaker in the South claimed Friday that he is “99 percent” certain Kim Jong Un is dead.

Ji Seong-ho made the comment without citing his source, according to South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency. Rumors have swirled in recent weeks over Kim’s health after the dictator was last spotted in public April 11.

"I've wondered how long he could have endured after cardiovascular surgery. I've been informed that Kim died last weekend," Ji told Yonhap.

I think it's getting interesting now. It has been long enough that a healthy Kim should have made some appearance somewhere to refute a potential crisis in NK as well as the lies of the Western dogs.

There are still a big range of possibilities this could be, but "nothing was wrong with Kim" is no longer in that range, IMO.

He was out of sight for about six weeks a while back when he had an operation on his foot.  Cyst removal if I remember what I read correctly.  If in a couple more weeks we haven't heard anything from him, then we might really start to wonder.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

[tinfoil] It appears to be NK footage. I wonder if there is anything in the imagery the would allow us to verify the date?[/tinfoil]

Wouldn't be the first time they pulled out old footage, if that's what is going on here. They did the same thing with the first two Kims IIRC

I don't know enough about the subject to make any sort of judgment on this.

“It looks like a right radial artery puncture … [which is] often used for access to the coronary arteries for stent placement,” one U.S.-trained medical professional told NK News, adding it appeared to be “about a week old.”

“It is hard to tell from the foreshortening of the photograph, but it seems a bit medial. It is not an IV [intravenous], which wouldn’t leave such a mark.”

A South Korea surgeon also told NK News that the mark on Kim’s arm “looks more plausible to be a procedure or check-up mark from a procedure on a heart-related issue.”

Kim Jong Un may have had heart surgery, based on fresh mark on wrist, experts say

If that is a radial puncture it is pretty far up his forearm. When I had a radial puncture a few years ago the puncture was much closer to my hand than where his appears to be.
