We have a couple aluminim vessels in service.
We do tend to build our warships from steel though. I think FFG(X) is steel.

We do that too. I remember we tipped over a SSN in drydock because the diver(s) got disoriented and misdirected the placement of the wood blocking under one side of the hull. Let the water out and oops!
