If John Lewis was actually a firm believer in what he is being idolized for, he'd have been a Republican, not a Democrat.

 I hope his family heals soon and I wonder what is next for his constituency.
 As a kid, I was very enamored of the civil rights movement as an adult, saddened by the lack of concern ( of the civil rights movement ) for the basic second amendment all people should enjoy
