Moving to Georgia
« on: November 17, 2020, 08:40:35 AM »
I mentioned this in one of the other voter fraud threads, but it kinda deserves its own. All kinds of people are talking about moving to Georgia to vote for the Senate runoff.

This is such a dangerous precedent. Any Bloomberg or Bloomberg wannabe could just pay people like out of work antifa $20K a piece to move somewhere for a couple of months and change an election. Or SJW google millionaire employees who can work from anywhere could just go hang out in Savannah for a couple of months and change an election.

This is my complaint about college kids changing local politics and then moving back to where they came from times ten.

Perhaps someone with the legal expertise can chime in: Number one, Georgia has a dumb law (or lack thereof). There should at least be a six month minimum before you can vote. Heck, I couldn't buy a resident Idaho hunting license until I was here for a year. Six months to vote seems fair.

I additionally don't understand why Georgia couldn't immediately require a six month residency. Is that something that has to go through a state legislative process, vs the governor just doing it? Knowing, and having the evidence, that your state is being overrun by carpetbaggers, seems like something you could apply an emergency measure to. Georgia officials have said it's against the law to vote there if you don't plan on staying, but they have no real way to prove that for prosecution - at least not without spending lots of tax dollars in pursuit. Having the time delay seems the most efficient and fair way to prevent the fraud.

In the moral, catatonic stupor America finds itself in today it is only disagreement we seek, and the more virulent that disagreement, the better.

I'm old and I haven't had the second cup of coffee yet. Plus it makes me mad enough for two threads.  =D

Locked.
