So you mean they don't learn the alphabet song while looking at a list of the letters of the alphabet?  I recall the elementary school classrooms had a poster or something on the wall with all the letters and numbers. 

This sounds like one of those arguments only education academics would have.

They considered staying in power more important than a mentally fit president, so it was better to cover up the (rapid) decline until it became painfully obvious.  Then it was better to go with Harris as a field expedient.
