Interesting question as they are doing 06JAN the way they did Trump - turning misdemeanors into felonies and apparently making up new crimes as they go. It's basically bizarro world, where antifa violence rates a ticket, and 06JAN trespassing and property damage rate a couple of decades in prison (and lets not forget the prison sentences for people that weren't even there, just for speaking out against the government).

I know for Trump they had to make it a felony to get around the SOL issue.  But aren't most J6ers still only bring charged with misdemeanors?  I know a few caught felony charges, but mostly I thought it was still misdemeanors.

The 5th Circuit has ruled that geofence warrants are unconstitutional. I wonder if this will affect any 06JAN appeals?  This judge was apparently on Trump's short list at the time that he appointed Barrett.
