Interesting question as they are doing 06JAN the way they did Trump - turning misdemeanors into felonies and apparently making up new crimes as they go. I know for Trump they had to make it a felony to get around the SOL issue.  But aren't most J6ers still only bring charged with misdemeanors?  I know a few caught felony charges, but mostly I thought it was still misdemeanors.

Statute of limitations on federal , non capitol crimes is 5 years.

The 5th Circuit has ruled that geofence warrants are unconstitutional. I wonder if this will affect any 06JAN appeals?  This judge was apparently on Trump's short list at the time that he appointed Barrett.

Many people already plead guilty to avoid sitting in jail for the last 4 years. 

Either way, as commented in the link, the Justice Dept doesn't get to put conditions on a pardon.  Not to mention claims of guilt are meaningless with a pardon.
