I had mentioned the tower being damaged earlier in the thread.  With that lean there might have been damaged RF transmission lines, data lines or power lines.  Or all of the above.

SpaceX sats they are going to try and catch the Starship on Flight 8.  My understanding is there will ultimately be multiple versions.  The Earth-Orbit-Earth ships will get caught to save weight.  The Human Landing System part of Artimis (Earth-Moon-Earth) will have legs for the moon part.  I don't know if even they know if that ship will come back to earth and land on legs, get caught, or be abandoned somewhere along the way yet.  The first Mars Ships will obviously need legs, but after they build a tower on Mars, they could theoretically catch them at both ends, but I don't think Elon has made public the plan that far out yet.

Really cool video of S31 landing from the buoy.
Looking a little beat up and you can see a line of tiles that popped off. I'm thinking that in line with the crease we saw during reentry

Remember this is the last of the Block 1 ships. Block 2 ships have lots of changes including a new flap design. First Block 2 ship expected to fly is S33 on Flt 7.
Elon stated they hope to try the first ship catch in Flt 8
