Saw something about a minor leak a few days ago but it was a leak in the Russian section that has been known about since 2019 and the general attitude was meh. Think somebody heard that and ran wild with it. Maybe time will tell.

Read a few stories about the leak that were published last month.  The leak is gradually getting worse and concern about a catastrophic failure in that specific module is increasing.  Mitigation of such a failure is to just close the hatch leading to that small module.  It leads to one of the four docking modules on the station and closing the hatch would be a practical fix.  The whole area is a rather small part of the station and could be easily isolated and the station could still operate until 2028 at least.
However, there was nothing in any of those stories to indicate, "Oh, my God!  The end is near!  The astronauts are all going to die!"

The few traces of atmosphere up that high are very very thin - a good vacuum by most standards. But there's still SOME drag, causing the ISS to regularly lose some altitude every day - NASA says "about" 300 feet, requiring periodic "re-boosts" to push it back up.

The ISS isn't streamlined at all so there's already a LOT of drag (for such a trace atmosphere) and it's not clear to me how a structural crack would greatly increase this and cause a rapid deorbit.
