Not the SHOT Show 2021
« on: January 15, 2021, 02:20:56 PM »
So there is no SHOT show this year.  Looks like a few groups are doing an online version trying to give companies an outlet to show their new stuff.  TFB TV has started posting videos on youtube.  Brownells was teasing something going on next week.  I don't know if anyone else will be putting out content.

New Magpul products.  Including a new polymer backup site set that is smaller/slimmer.  Also a 50 round drum for Glock 17 mags.

An overpriced B&T suppressed single shot pistol that is manually cycled.

50 round G17 drum.

Video already out on the Kel-Tec P50.

I used to order a bunch from Brownells. Most of it was gunsmith related. I miss those days.

I am pretty sure I have ordered tools from them.  I have ordered a couple firearms from them also.

The NSSF is running this year's SHOT Show as a "virtual" event. It is official. I've been receiving announcements in my e-mail all week from some companies. I still need to sort of the official NSSF communications to see how it's supposed to work.

I see this on their website but it is NOT open to the public (I guess that is normal).  I would have thought they would have some portion open for vendors to show off their stuff.

This channel has a little bit of content, but it doesn't look like anything I haven't seen.

I guess this is one of the new pistols being rolled out.  I am not familiar with the company.  It would be nice if they had a 5 minute summary.  A lot of time spent talking before getting to their new pistol.  I got bored.
The actual information starts nearly halfway through the video.  Interchangeable back straps that adjust grip angle.  Not sure how that would work.

The TNVC version I mentioned earlier is certainly entertaining.  There isn't much in the way of new products to talk about, though.

They are giving away a ton of nice stuff.  Each night has three prize packages and the last night they are giving away a nice set of NVDs.

When I registered at Brownells' website, I did so as a gunsmith. That gets me discounted prices on many items.
