East of the Mighty Miss, you say? Lot's of good places to go. Only one aircraft manufacturer that I know of, Gulfstream, on this side of the river. Lots of airlines (you don't want that), FBOs, tech shops, finish shops, overhaul shops. As Art said, business aviation is on a big upswing. Always good jobs in that sector.
Maybe look into one of the new VLJ (very light jet) manufacturers?
