Opinions on 2010 Mazda CX-7
« on: June 09, 2024, 02:36:34 PM »
Older boy wrecked our 2005 Kia Sorento rear ending someone else.  It was previously totaled when daughter was rear ended.  So it wasn't worth anything so we only had liability. Not drivable afterwards. Towed to a body shop and sold it to them for $300.

Considering a 2010 CX-7 AWD with 130k miles.  $6600.  Supposedly well cared for, with aftermarket premium rims (but looks OK, not teen boy flashy).

Any major problems I should know about or reasons to avoid it?

Price seems about average, Mazda extended the warranty on the CX-7 to 7 years/70K because of VVT/timing chain problems.
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.
Is defenestration possible through the overton window?

CX-7 deal fell apart.  Now looking at a 2012 CX-9, pretty well loaded.  146k miles, $7900. Same questions.
