Representative Sheila Jackson Lee (D) Texas has died after fighting pancreatic cancer.  She was 74.

All cancer sucks.  Pancreatic cancer sucks more.  Watched my grandmother and mother both whither away from that crap.    And, I say whither away because, for both of them, it killed all desire to eat anything.  So they literally whithered away.  Grandmother lasted about 9 months.  Mom got about 16 months.  Both were pretty miserable from the surgery (Whipple procedure) until the end.

So, I don't care about her politics.  She didn't deserve that.
