Aging celebrities...
« on: November 18, 2021, 03:37:32 PM »
So, off work today, cleaning house some, have the TV on for noise.

Damn, but some folks aren't looking good. Broadway Joe and J.J. Walker are both doing social security ads... And Lee Majors is selling some sort of hearing aid thing...

You know who looks better than all three, and is likely older?

Shatner.

William Shatner will be turning 91 next March.

Considering Shat and Nimoy were less than a month different in age, look at how much better Shat looks now compared to Nimoy.  [barf]

I watched that movie on one of the streaming services, maybe Amazon Prime.  It was just a stupid, fun and campy movie.  Certainly not going to win any awards, but worth watching for some laughs.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

Part of it brings to mind a bit of doggerel from one of my father's forbidden books, about a couple who mistook library paste for petroleum jelly, and spent their honeymoon belly to belly...

Aging celebrities . . .

Barbara Eden a few months ago at 90 - I always did think she was aging gracefully. (If she had work done, she got her money's worth. But her hands show her age . . . )

And for contrast, here's Bridgett Bardot at 87(?) or so.

Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.
