Woke up this morning...
« on: December 25, 2021, 01:18:56 PM »
...and looked at the news.

Damn. No zombies.

I have to work a double tomorrow, because nobody else will show up.

So many happy people. Happy, happy people.

I think I'll make a breakfast burrito.

Maybe go out for Jewish Christmas Dinner somewhere.

I think the Christmas restaurant tradition is Chinese food.

I can do can biscuits pretty good in the air fryer. Frozen I still haven't got the temp right so they rise like they should.

When I read the title of this thread . . . first thing I thought of was the opening line of the theme music from The Sopranos.

Same here.  That song becomes an ear worm very easily.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Woke up this morning...with a wine glass in my hand.
Whose wine? What wine? Where the hell did I dine?

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

Did he steal something tangible, or did they get him for "stealing time" by sleeping on the clock?

Used to work for a director who loved the concept of accusing people of stealing time... having a smoke, making a call, etc.  I don't know if she ever successfully terminated someone for it, but I'd bet she tried.

I was thinking a Blues intro:

I might not last very long or be very effective but I'll be a real pain in the ass for a minute!
