At least the Feds managed not to burn the place down.
Well, since the hostages got out, what would be the point.

Meanwhile, the Michigan AG attributed the situation to white supremacy.

I guess certain people in politics have mental blinders.  When the subject of anti-Semitism comes up, they automatically assume "white supremacism" and can't imagine anyone else who might not like Jews.

It would be funny if they made their simultaneous breakout and get out of the doorway plans in Hebrew.

Well, wouldn't it?

=D

Yup. (The sad thing for me is that the best I could do is pig Latin. ) :old:

FBI Says They Still Haven’t Found A Motive For 9/11

COLLEYVILLE, TX—In a press conference after the synagogue hostage situation this weekend, the FBI said they are still looking for a motive that would explain why an Islamic extremist would attack a Jewish house of worship.

"Please be patient with us, because determining motive is really really hard," said Special Agent Deebles McPaddycake to reporters. "To be fair, we still haven't even figured out a motive for the 9/11 attacks yet. Who knows what drove a coordinated team of Islamic extremists to fly planes into buildings? According to our best experts, these men were victims of white supremacy, and they seemed to really hate buildings—so that's probably why they did that. We're still working on it though. It's a real mystery."

FBI agents are also looking into the mysterious reasons why the entire country hates the FBI, but say they may be 10-15 years away from any clear answers. "We're pretty sure it has something to do with white supremacy," said Wray.

I'd say they need to look at devotion to the Koran.

Throw a chair at your attacker and run like heck!

The rabbi is going to be on the FBI most wanted list for throwing cold water on their story that they "rescued" the hostages.

More info on the guy

He had been under investigation but "was assessed to be no longer a risk."
The "no longer" bit  makes me go Hmmmm

And this too

Friends of Akram in Blackburn said his mental health had been getting worse and expressed surprise that he had been able to travel to the US.

Some more info:

I'm kinda surprised that the MSM has been avoiding it, as his statements on how easy it was to get a gun seem to be of higher value to the MSM propaganda agenda than his racial motives.

Interesting take by the Rabbi that was held hostage:

https://twitchy.com/brettt-3136/2022/01/20/attention-armament-fanatics-what-saved-the-hostages-in-colleyville-wasnt-a-gun-but-a-calm-kind-presence/

These people must have watched a different video than the one I saw:

Quote
The attacker chased them out of the building — pointing the gun at them. What stopped him at that point was being shot. If he had not been shot, it is possible (and likely) he would have shot them then.

What stopped him wasn't being shot. What stopped him was seeing a SWAT team and an APC outside the building, at which point he ducked back inside.

Quote
Hostage taker was literally stopped by a gun as he tried to chase down and kill the fleeing kind presence.

No ... he was not.

Quote
There’s literally video that shows the hostage taker running after the hostages, gun in hand, as they escaped and that’s when the FBI shot him…but ok? https://t.co/jOruJIoWGf

Actually, that's not when the FBI shot him ... but ok?

Now the man who sold the Taurus G2C pistol to Akram — Henry Williams — has been charged with federal crimes including illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (go figure). The DOJ has issued this statement . .

As part of its intensive investigation into the hostage taking, the FBI tied Mr. Williams to Mr. Akram through an analysis of Mr. Akram’s cellphone records, which showed the pair exchanged a series of calls from Jan. 11 through Jan. 13.

Quote
After viewing a photo of Mr. Akram, Mr. Williams confirmed he sold Mr. Akram the handgun at an intersection in South Dallas. Analysis of both men’s cellphone records showed that the two phones were in close proximity on Jan. 13.

Interesting.

So... Are we now going to see legislation prohibiting "person to person" sales?

Given this was a black market sale by an already prohibited possessor to another prohibited possessor, and not in any way a legal sale already, yeah, that’s probably the most likely outcome.
