Am I going down with the ship?
« on: April 08, 2007, 01:45:09 PM »
I only have 16 post over the last two years. I mostly come here to read and learn from the posts. So does that mean I get scuttled with the ship as I'm not well know by the rest of you?

I've never heard that word before, but I like it.

Scuttle.

Neat word.

Oh, and Daniel, your line about "not well known by the rest of us" is probably WHY we let you in.  If you don't know us and associate with the likes of us, then by golly, you must be a good person!!! grin

Or just doesn't know any better.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

In that case, you should pay particular attention to my posts, since I always have something interesting and enlightening to say (like right now).  grin

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

Don't feel too bad Daniel, I've been here since Nov 05, and have (with this post) exactly HALF the number of posts you do.   I have given up on WAY more posts than I've actually let be submitted.    You know, "Keep quiet and be thought a moron, rather than open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Must be a lot of us that way.

I don't post here much either, but a lot over on THR.

I come over here whenever Art drops in with his "Take it to APS fellas...." thread lock  grin

I'm really bummed about the coming shut down. When the rest of the world is going nuts APS has been my safe haven to escape to. It's kind of reassuring to that there are still some sane people [for the most part] still around, or if not that then at least there are some who are as nuts as I am. Can I beg or something? Or buy some carbon credits from Carbon Credits gALore.

I don't post as much here as I do on THR.

Hope there's room in the liferaft. . .

This is pretty sad, indeed. I hadn't noticed the new sticky up top until today. As with most things in life, a few have ruined it for the whole. I've enjoyed my time here very much and gotten a lot out of the forum, which is more than I can say for some places that I've had to pay money to join.
