Of all the various places in the world the US military has sent me to, the Horn of Africa is hands down the shittiest in every conceivable metric. That place is a lost cause.......for all causes.

I don't  think the Houthi's make it across the Gulf of Aden  to HOA. Somalia  is still a pirate base, and spawns north African violence.
