That's a shame.  I always like him.  Got a kick out of him co-starring with John Wayne in "El Dorado".  Rest in Peace, Mr. Caan.

*edit to add* Cruising his IMDB page. Forgot about Alien Nation with Mandy Patinkin. Really liked that movie.

Another actor gone from the generation of actors that mostly just acted and stayed in their lane. I liked him in El Dorado too.

That's a great poem, and I really liked the way James Caan recited it in the movie.  Something I always look forward to when I watch El Dorado.
