Then I guess the NG needs more marksmanship training.

Not a terrible outcome.  His medical bills won't be our problem.

Denver residents are being asked to take in illegal aliens:

If memory serves, at least one east coast city is already doing this.  I'm curious about what percentage of city residents comply.

NYC made similar pleas a while back.  There have been one or two other cities that have asked, as well, but I disremember who they are.  I've slept since I read the articles.
Was it in the "Domestic Enemies" series of books, where one of the plot devices was how it became mandatory for apartment renters and home owners to take in illegal immigrants?  They were assigned to live in someone's home by .gov.   I wonder if that is in our future?
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

16 year old was suspended for three days for using the term "illegal alien" in class, family is suing.
Could be more to this but here it is

Quote
According to the student's mother, Leah McGhee, in April, an English teacher at Central Davidson High School in Lexington gave a vocabulary assignment that involved the word "alien." In response, her son Christian asked if the teacher meant "like space aliens or illegal aliens without green cards?"

Another student allegedly took offense to the term and threatened to fight Christian, forcing the teacher to contact the assistant principal. The staff later deemed the term to be offensive to Hispanic students and punished Christian with a three-day suspension.

The third book, Foreign Enemies. One of the character’s mothers, living alone in a house, is forced to take in an illegal family or pay insane tax rates for unoccupied rooms.

Back before the 2020 election I got an e-mail from the Democratic Party in Virginia, asking me to open my home to one or more Democratic field staff who were working the upcoming election.

I'd take in a whole family of tuberculosis-riddled illegals before I took in a Democratic field staffer.

Massachusetts has also done it.

You know, oddly enough, I'd bet conservatives would step up to do this more than liberals would. It always seems that liberals talk a good game... until they're expected to comply with what they're asking...

Friend's mother, quite liberal and fairly wealthy, was QUITE enthusiastic about building some center for something or the other, maybe the homeless, and plunking it down in a working class neighborhood across town. She just couldn't fathom why there was so much opposition to it.

But when asked if she'd support it being built in HER neighborhood, that's when all of the excuses started coming out as to why it couldn't be built there.

She just couldn't see the glaring light of her own hypocrisy.

Illegal aliens have a list of "demands" that must be met before they will accept government-provided shelter:

In the linked article, it shows that the student was asking the teacher for "clarification" as he "asked if the teacher meant "like space aliens or illegal aliens without green cards?".

At least he didn't call them "wetbacks".

Well this should give you a warm and fuzzy feeling

Quote
Bill Melugin
@BillMelugin_
NEW: In a DHS Inspector General report released this month, the IG found that DHS has not been monitoring humanitarian parole expiration for the roughly 77,000 Afghans brought into the US for 2 year paroles after the withdrawal in 2021. Additionally, the IG found only 3 Afghan parolees were deported from the US between July 2021 and December 2022. One for "terrorism related activity", one for murder, and one for abusive sexual contact. The IG found that DHS has a fragmented process for identifying derogatory information on the Afghan parolees as well.

The report finds that DHS has no process or component whatsoever for monitoring parole expiration for the Afghan parolees, or any humanitarian parole recipients in general. CBP thought ICE and USCIS would handle it, USCIS says they haven't been because they aren't a law enforcement component, and ICE says they can't because they don't have the staffing to do so, with only 6,000 removal officers who already have to monitor millions of migrants already in removal proceedings.
........

Meanwhile they can tell you what anyone who was in DC on J6 had for lunch today.

Surprised Joy Reid hasn't called the stars racist yet since more blacks live in the inner city and can't see as many.

So while Biden is touting his mighty border shutdown (that is letting in millions), we are apparently opening US offices throughout Central and South America to aid "asylum seekers" so that they don't have to "make the perilous journey". So I guess we're flying more people in now? I can't figure out if these "mobility offices" are new or something they are expanding. Then I would ask if they also have them in England, France, Germany, Australia, etc., or just South of the border? Because it sure seems like the party of diversity believes that you can only be an immigrant if you're brown.

They might actually piss off enough normies that we really do mass deportations.  I wouldn't have thought they could, but stuff like this, and the illegals marching in NYC demanding *expletive deleted*it might tip us over the edge.

In related news, it will be interesting to see what the EU immigration policies start to do after the election last week.
