An black friend has said that among the black community Haitians are considered the bottom of the barrel.  And that was 15 years ago.

Had a boss at Boeing that fled Haiti to avoid being killed by Baby Doc's goons.  But he was in danger because he was a commie.  Worst boss, by far, I ever had.  Anyone in the group who wasn't at least a commie sympathizer was, in his mind, an ally of Baby Doc.  And he treated them like *expletive deleted*it.
