I haven't followed any of this Jan 6th stuff before.

Is this twitter thread an accurate summary or not?

Did the police start attacking the crowd first?

He does have video of Ashli Babbit trying to stop the guy breaking windows before she was shot to death.   :-[

Yeah, I'd heard before that they lit the crowd up with "less than lethal" munitions for some time - theory is that they were EXPECTING the "insurrectionists" to go hot, and trying to provoke a reaction.
